I hear that this Jersey local is an incredible luthier, but I was wondering if anyone out there has and first hand experience with his instruments - specifically his basses but I'd like to hear about anything.

What really irks me is that 1) ive never seen such an incredible stock of instruments, so it kills me that the owner is so disrespectful, and 2) he proudly displays an award for best guitar shop in the city. DC btw, not las vegas

Does anyone string their 5'er EADGC? Did you have to modify anything about your nut or bridge to do it? Just curious because i want the extended high range of a 6 string but dont really use the B string enough to justify how much it gets in the way.
