FWIW, I still have this bass sitting next to my desk at the office. Currently set up with GHS Pressurewound strings. I play it through a Line6 GX whenever I need to clear my head or while I'm waiting for code to compile. I'm pretty sure that I would have been better off buying a more expensive...

The frets are pretty decent. There were a few sharp edges on the sides, but easily corrected with a jewelers file.

I just picked up a Joyo compressor pedal, seems to work well. I'm thinking about getting an Ultimate Drive pedal as well, although I'm pretty happy with the clean sound of my bass.

I picked up a Rumble 40 today. I had been needing a practice amp, and Orangeclawhammer sold me on the 40. I haven't had a chance to do much with it yet, but I'm looking forward to playing with it over the long weekend.
