Hi sratas, thanks. The cab is a 2x12". It is an awesome cab. I have only managed to get the TF on 4 on the master volume and it was immense! Using the cab with my old Ashdown head a fellow bass player thought the bass was going through the PA. It wasn't, this cab is fine as back line alone...

Hi, just a quick update. I have been using my TFB550 regularly for a few months now and have to say it is probably the best amp I have ever owned. Like most on here I am only using the enhance and timbre controls and they are perfect in all situations. I cant imagine gigging without it now.

Thanks, I think you are correct. The sound at low volume was very different to on stage volume when the whole band was playing.

Ah yes, I should have said. I did end up with the Timber knob two clicks left. That really helped. :)

Thanks sratas, it does have a slight hum. It is cool to know this is normal and as I only tend to play live, it shouldn't be an issue. I will give the pots a few twists to clean 'em up. :D
