    Ampeg B-100r Rocket Aficionados

Got it on my door now! It's smaller and weighs less than I thought (because many on this forum stated it was a pain to move around: it's not! Lited it straight up out of the box with one arm.) It's built in China, and it has a dispatchable power chord. I'm excited about how it sounds...

Ampeg Micro-VR stack? Anyone tried or has the pair?

"Good" to hear. I was not buying it because I thought the fan would be annoying, and I'm sort of glad it was so I won't have regrets!

    Ampeg B-100r Rocket Aficionados

I ordered a brand spankin new one just now. :hyper: Been drooling over it for a little while. Got some money for my birthday and sold the old Peavey TNT100. Considered both the Micro-VR and Fender Bassman TV's, but didn't want no stupid fans, I hate excess noise! Now I have to wait...

How can I practice quietly, and still sound good?

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed] WORKS GREAT! Can walk all round the house practicing with headphones and this.

    Fender Bassman TV amp

I'm interested in the 12" version myself, for home practice and recording. I could get the 10" too, but I like the gain option of the 12". but I'm concerned about the fan. How loud is it, and how long will a fan last? Fans just don't seem like a good idea to me... But it seem that a lot of amps...

    Another new member here!

Hi! I'm a Norwegian guy in the mid twenties. Have been DJing, record collecting and making beats (Hip Hop) for a decent time. Very obsessed with warm and banging sound, the sound I hear on 60's through 70's records. Because the bass guitar is such an important element in a beat to me, I...
