Which to purchase? Two of my favourite dirty bass tones. Obviously different to each other and Billy’s can be the more extreme/aggressive of the two. Geddy’s subtler tone probably shades it for me. How true are the pedals replicating the real thing? Anyone used these? Any feedback to assist...

In the pursuit of tone, looking for some inspiration … a question for all, what pedal(s) are the cornerstone of your tone, essential elements you can’t do without, always on your pedalboard, perhaps always ‘on’ too? For me it’s the spectra comp (to add presence to the D & G strings particularly...

i had the brown Boss chorus and Flanger, also the OC2 in the 90s. Gave away my pedal case with those plus a Boss bass overdrive, JD bass wah wah and TU12 tuner to my brothers bass player for an undefined temporary loan. Never saw them again. picked up a bass again 20 years later and discovered...

Saw it on Facebook marketplace I think. Dunno much about them, was just looking for a cheap distortion pedal to complement the Orange amp dirty channel. I like it, I use it to give a little bit of an Entwistle edge to my clean sound and I double up with the dirty channel when I want to go OTT...

Which dirty pedal do you prefer for your distorted sound, or what combo?
