Congrats. I love my passive PB. It is the bass I have been waiting years for. I have sold 3 basses since I got it and now have the PB and an SB. If I were to get rid of another bass, it would be the SB. Carvin really hit it out of the park on this one. I hope you continue to enjoy yours...

Carvin way out in front in value. There are some nicer basses out there but for much more money. I really liked my G&L ASAT but it was a 4 string. Fenders would be right behind that. I like Warwick and I once almost bought one, but in was a 3 year old NOS which the owner wanted more than...

I love the string spacing on mine and I find nothing wrong with the active. I just don't use it. When I was playing this as my main bass I virtually always used it in passive mode. I recently bought a Carvin PB5 and I specified it to be passive only.

+1 I mess around with the builder but I think that every Carvin I have ordered had some form of option 50, so I have called them in. Eddie has made every request except one happen. Come to think of it. I can't even remember what that request was.

I'll try to get it out tonight and compare it to the others. I having only been playing my PB and SB since I got them and only played my AC40 for the year before that (plus a little time on the ASAT bass I recently sold). Of course, if I start playing it again I may not want to sell it. Who...

Sunday Bump

Mine are both Surf Green. I like Carvin's Seafoam, but prefer the Surf.
