I just picked up a used Modulus VJ4 and it sounds INCREDIBLE. Such a good purchase! I cant wait to bring this in the first day of school next year. The slap tone is amazingly responsive and the graphite neck feels and looks incredible

IMO It looks a lot like paint swirl in the pics. Judging by how the front and back grain do not match at all in terms of direction or shape. But I am viewing from an iPhone

I am just looking for more tone options. Mostly I want to be able to still get something similar to a classic jazz sound (as close as I can get with a graphite neck and active eq) as well as many other options as this is my only bass. Hopefully this helps
