Greetings all. I have an issue with my MIM Fender jazz whereby if I set the intonation at the octave on the E string correctly, the notes at the lower fret positions are slightly sharp. The higher I go on the neck the less sharp the notes are . Has anyone else had this issue, and if so how did...

I would put a set of Di Addario flats on it. I think you would like the sound and playability.

:ninja:Had a chance to check out one of the Modern Player Series Jaguar basses yesterday at the local GC. Didn't like it as well as my Squier Jag. My Squier neck is much nicer. I also prefer the Squier stacked controls versus the standard Jazz configuration on the Fender.

Is it acceptable if my Jag shares the spotlight with his little brother?

I own a Squier VM Jaguar( the black one with the stacked conrtrols) , as well as a brand new MIM Jazz, The squier action is every bit as good as the Jazz. The craftmanship is equal as well.:bassist:
