Nabilhuakbar, I had a brand new P-bass with a lot of noise. When I took off the bridge I found the ground wire wasn’t touching. Easy fix: the bass is dead quiet everywhere. P-bass pickups are humbuckers. Check your wiring.

I have a 4-string MIM built in '95 with the Suhr pickups. The preamp sounds good IMHO, although some clown lost the strap buttons and stripped the holes. I'm glueing in maple plugs and replacing the buttons with strap locks. Oh, yeah, and the bridge were ovalled out. The holes were so worn they...
