howdy I'm looking for strings to replace the stock d'addario chromes on my Ibanez UB804. they are a little too bright and stiff. I play lots of slides and bends. I'm thinking maybe Labella tapes or low tension flats. I'd appreciate advice especially if you've been in this situation.

hey, I'm looking for a decent battery amp that would work well with my Ibanez UB804. the budget's a bit tight but I could stretch it for the right fit. also, lighter is better, my Peavey T-40 did a number on my back. advice welcome and appreciated.

really appreciate all the helpful comments. so I get the idea. it's a nice low maintenance giggable bass that could work long term. in a way I hate to give that shop any $, but if I can come away with a good bass for a reasonable price then I have it and they're out of my life forever. certainly...

it's a new Cleveland,patterned after the old reliable American Standard.they make carved hybrid and play basses.

right now I can make do with a thumper, it doesn't have to sing. I'm in the Cleveland area, asking 3k. I could grab a few more photos later on today if necessary.

yeah I was thinking that too. less worry and all I really need at this point is a thumper. just a little annoying that I was told it was fully carved. and this was at a local string Instrument shop.
