Thanks for all the input. The gig went well and there were no adverse effects on the equipment. It was very hot but there was a couple nice breezes blowing through occasionally which helped greatly.

I like the sound overall. Musically it isn't so complicated that it gets in the way of the lyrics which I think is great. Sounds pretty good overall. Not the highest quality recording but I think you are on the right track.

Thanks for the feedback. We have tweaked some effects and played around with them a bit and it is starting to sound better. We are also gonna try a few different mics and mic positions and see if we can improve it at all.

I bought a EXH Clone Theory a couple months ago and love it. I found an old one from the 70s on Ebay for about $150. I think the new ones are around $120 or so. A friend of mine has a new one but I have yet to compare them side by side to see how different they sound.

Never made a purchase there but have spoken on the phone with them a few times and they were very, very helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them. Only a 5 hour drive away. Might have to swing over there soon.
