Rounds on my Jazz Flats on my Precision. It came with a SD QP and it sounds harsh with rounds, but it thumps with Labella flats!

I prefer the drummer’s left side as there’s less chance of a cymbal taking a bite out of my head stock.

The levels don’t really matter if you’re running direct using two channels other than how hot the signal is going to the board. If however, you’re running with the channels combined it allows you to mix the drive and deep. Either way it’s not important that you love the tone of each channel...
