I have had an issue crop up with my head. My OD channel volume is super low compared to the vintage channel. No matter how I tweak it, I can't seem to get any significant volume out of it. Is this a tube issue?

Picked up from my local GC with a nice discount. Went ahead and dropped in a set of the EMG Geezers and put some black beauties on it. At some point in the future I think I'll add a new pearloid pickguard to it and call it good. Sweet sweet playing bass!

Made a move recently with my gear. My 200 combo is a great amp, but decided to upgrade to keep up with my new bandmates. Here's the new head on top of the stack I'm gigging with tonight.

If you want weird and tiny, look up Tonebutcher. It's a perfect description of those pedals.

Being that I was about 10 feet from them, I would say that it was most certainly his amps driving that tone, and not what was getting pushed into the mains.

Just saw Pallbearer in Dallas. Incredible band, bass sounds were simply amazing. He was playing a P Bass into a Verellen Meatsmoke through a pair of 2x15 cabs. Thunderous, glorious bass tone!

Get a 200. I use it in a full band setting with 2 guitars, keys and drums. Zero issues with being heard. Once my 1x15 extension gets here things will get entertaining.

Well, then I guess I get to be the test case for a 200 combo parked on a 1x15. Just put the order in with Zzounds. Will have in next week.

So I have seen that there is at least one person playing the 200 combo with the 1x12 extension cab, but has anyone tried the 200 with a 1x15? I am looking at buying one of them - my preference would be for the 1x15 as I just dig the sound a 15 brings, but was curious to see if anyone has tested...

I don't have a fretless currently. I wouldn't mind noodling around on one, but my concern is how was the fret removal done. If it was a pro job, that is one thing. If it was done at home, and poorly that makes it much less attractive.

I figure that if it is acquired, some replacement knobs will be the first step.
