Mine doesn't pop, but I start by powering up with volume and gain all the way down, and bring them up to suit the situation.
At high volume levels, that pop can potentially damage speakers -- it's a pretty high transient -- so lower your volume at power-on. I have a habit of leaving my volume knobs at the 9:00 o'clock position (or about 25%-30%) -- no pops.
A lot of modern audio equipment has a "slow on" feature where the output is muted at power-on and then gently raised to the dial setting over a period of 1 second or so. This eliminates the solid-state "pop".

I hope I am not too late to the advice party on this. Slide a butter knife in under the bottom of the grille, and gently pry it off. The grille is held on by velcro tabs, once you get the bottom loose you should be able to grab it and pull the rest of the way off.
Reattaching the strap piece is a piece of cake with a stapler. I would use a stapler and hot glue to reattach it. Not like a desk stapler, but a staple gun with say 1/2" staples.
So I have seen that there is at least one person playing the 200 combo with the 1x12 extension cab, but has anyone tried the 200 with a 1x15? I am looking at buying one of them - my preference would be for the 1x15 as I just dig the sound a 15 brings, but was curious to see if anyone has tested this yet.
I don't recall if anyone has, but if you have the Rumble 200 combo, you already know exactly what it sounds like. You'll just have twice as much. The 15" Eminence woofer is identical in each. So same sound just twice as much of it. You also benefit from the coupling effect of stacked identical drivers. Which is something you would not get from the Rumble 112. For the very same $300 the Rumble 115 is the right choice.

Same day I brought it home I scored an old Indonesian Squier Affinity P which has already been modded/upgraded, and a $40 Strat copy because I like to have a guitar to knock around now and then...(the Squier P also cost me $40...)

Those old rumble are good, too.
I'm thinking Rumbles are like Squiers. Nobody respected them until they have played them.
Those V2 Rumble 150 combos were the best selling bass combo for three years running. They are very nearly teenager proof, and are perfect for jams and bar gigs. It was the V2 Rumble 350 that really put Fender Rumbles into the realm of the serious gig-rig.
I have chuckled to myself a couple of times when I showed up to a pickup gig and seen the faces of the other players when they saw my 500 and again after they heard it.
There are several. One is using one of the new Bassman 500 heads and another using a Rumble 500. Someone else is using a pair with their GK MB500. Of course a pair of Rumble 115 cabinets make a killer stack. What's not to love?
I am using 2 115s with the 500 head. I am very happy with it. Probably more than power than most of us need but that's what makes it fun, lol. I don't find a need to EQ at all. I leave the tweeter switches in the middle position and just play with the voicing buttons depending on the song. The bottom is huge but tight, like a medicine ball dropping on a wooden gym floor, if you know what I mean. This set up definitely likes Flatwounds.
Well, then I guess I get to be the test case for a 200 combo parked on a 1x15. Just put the order in with Zzounds. Will have in next week.
