I have chuckled to myself a couple of times when I showed up to a pickup gig and seen the faces of the other players when they saw my 500 and again after they heard it.

Well, then I guess I get to be the test case for a 200 combo parked on a 1x15. Just put the order in with Zzounds. Will have in next week.
I am expecting a full report with diagrams and graphs.
"As it is written, so shall it be!"I've got a 500 combo with a 210 extension cab......you will never need anything more than this!!!!
Linnin you are absolutely correct in the 200 combo being a grab and go gig amp.Took my 200 combo to practice and only needed just less than half output at our playing sound levels.I have not yet played/purchase the 115 ext cab yet.I maynot need the 500 combo. This combo is AWESOME for the $$$. Now gotta decide on the next upgrade, maybe fender bassman 300T 410s? BAD G.A.S!To me, the Rumble 200 combo is very attractive as an easy grab-and-go jam & pub gig amp. It will also suffice for personal practice.
The Fender Super Bassman is the sexiest and most alluring bass amp in the known universe.maybe fender bassman 300T
The incredible headroom of the 500 is the key to it's overwhelming superiority. Just like @StrangerDanger, the Rumble 500 on top of a pair of Rumble 115 cabinets is where it's at.I wonder how much more sonic difference between the 200combo with ext 115 cab vs the 500 210s hmmm?
The universe? I gotta see this in person and play it. thanks for the good advice you've given me sofar. The Fender Super Bassman is the sexiest and most alluring bass amp in the known universe.
You're most welcome @btmpancake!The universe? I gotta see this in person and play it. thanks for the good advice you've given me sofar.
It's 1,000 miles away from the hurricane so it would only receive some rain and just a little wind.Looks like the Fender factory in Ensenada, Baja, Mexico has been spared damaging impact from Hurricane Patricia. Plenty of wind and rain.
No problem, it's done got fixed. Glued and stapled. ThanksI hope I am not too late to the advice party on this. Slide a butter knife in under the bottom of the grille, and gently pry it off. The grille is held on by velcro tabs, once you get the bottom loose you should be able to grab it and pull the rest of the way off.
Reattaching the strap piece is a piece of cake with a stapler. I would use a stapler and hot glue to reattach it. Not like a desk stapler, but a staple gun with say 1/2" staples.
To me the Rumble 100 would be the absolute minimum, and really pushing it. The Rumble 200 is the better choice for full band rehearsals. But there is a ton of testimony of the Rumble 100 pulling off amazing gigs.Hi Rumble peeps...I'm lookingg for a new rehearsal combo amp and I gonna buy a Rumble v3. I want to keep it as small light as possible. Will a V3 40 keep up with two guitars (both use hotrod devilles) a drummer who isnt too loud, keys and lead vox? Or should I go for the 100 and 1x12?
I have the 100 and the 200. Although the 100 is possibly going to do the job, it will be pushing it. I can foresee a time when you might wish for more. The 200 will do the job as far as you explained it. My 200 only came up short once outside with a pretty loud setup, and I wasn't going through the PA. When you go line out to the PA, either amp will do great!! I don't see myself ever needing more than my 200 for most places I will ever play. A 1x15 Rumble cabinet would be on my list first if I need more. If you really want the most assurance that you will keep up with pretty much anything-ever, the 500 has really had great reviews here. For me, for now, the 200 has the power to play louder than I ever like to play inside.Hi Rumble peeps...I'm lookingg for a new rehearsal combo amp and I gonna buy a Rumble v3.
