I'd be interested to hear your take on the 112 cabinet under the 200 combo. I found the 500 combo and 210 cabinet to be a bit too boomy/bassy for my taste. I like the 112 cabinet a lot and if the 200 combo is a bit tighter and clearer than the 500 combo, I can see a nice match with the 200 combo/112 extension cabinet.

I'm kidding, but the fact that I could play stuffs I like with a guy who was trying a Gibson while I was trying my 200c instantly decided me to buy it. I heard it sound so nice :)

You maybe kidding but I think you may have given me an idea, I know some guys in my area that'll love to tryout my rig while I sit at the FOH at their gig.I can always return it if not satisfied;hmmm.

It has arrived. Dear sweet babby Jeebus the tone. So much low end. No loss on the highs. AND LOUD.

I haven't been able to really get crazy with it. I'm on call tonight and have to be able to hear my damn pager. The small bit of playing resulted in an absolutely massive low end response - I may even consider rolling the bass back on the EQ. Highs were tight - horn tweaking will happen. Will update as I tweak things, and then give a more detailed report after the next band practice.

UPDATE:Fender also recommends the rumble 112 ext cab for the 200c in their advertisements,we shall see; Can't wait for echo 2112 to fire it up. That 115 on the btm looks great.

I use v3 112s and love them for exactly the reason it is less boomy. although, the 500 combo isn't bad. i agree the 500 combo with a 210 has too much low end, even surpassing More's Law: If more's good, then too much is just right.
One further thing I've noticed about the 500 combo: it's too much as a practice amp. I barely even crack it on when I practice late at night. The 200 would be better for that. Personally, I'd never buy anything lower in wattage than that, but that's me.

I use a 25 for practice. I've even used it on an "acoustic" gig. Anything more for a practice amp is excessive, but that's me.

I use my 100 for practice and small gigs. It is light enough that I don't mind grabbing it. I'd thought about getting a smaller one for home, but since I already have the 100 and 200, I feel like I am good to go. I leave the 200 in the garage where it is always ready to travel.

The 25 would sure be nice to squeeze in somewhere and just leave it though. :)

I bought the 500 for gigging. I had an old 15 for practice. I blew the speaker out and replaced it with a new 25 v3.
I actually did use it on a acoustic gig. Drummer on cajon and two acoustic guitars amped. I used my Mike Kelly Dragonfly. When I got to the venue I thought it would not be nearly enough. It was a large room. It actually was plenty. I had the volume at 3.

My 500 is in my gear room, a divided room in the back of the garage, ready to go. The 25 sits next to my computer for practice.

You need to drill down under Speaker covers, not amp covers.
