It's only 7mm ply so it's not that heavy, and it's gone through 4 tours without a problem so at least you know your gear is protected. But maybe some sort of ABS case is what you're looking for.

Sounds like your sndvol32.exe got deleted for some reason. From your screenshot it looks like you have Vista, so I uploaded the file from my Vista machine for you. Remove the .mp3 extension and save it in your c:\windows\system32 directory. That should fix the problem.
