New Stingray Special owner here. What kind of battery life can I expect? Is there an audible advance warning or does it plummet off a cliff?

I gave the bike I ride the most a little love in the form of a chainguard (should've got one a long time ago!), new chain, new finishing tape, wash & lube, and one of those newfangled radar taillights. I might get some nicer fenders; I have the eyelets for them.

I got it back in May. It's been uncharacteristically humid here and when I broke it out for a gig last week, there was a new string buzz on the G. It wasn't audible through the output and I don't expect absolute stability but it was more movement than I expected from roasted maple. :eyebrow:

I recently acquired a roasted maple Stingray after playing a Modulus for 3 decades. No contest, get the graphite if you need the stability!

I actually have the DHR II in the front. It's a SoCal thing for when you want to save a little weight and roll a little faster than a DHF. Compared to the Kryptotal I have on the GasGas, I'm thinking I probably should've gone with an Assegai up front. :atoz:

What else would you carry this with but a white strap with gold strap locks?

Summer's in full swing here and that's the reason I bought this bike. I was able to squeeze in right under 30 miles and 4,500 feet of climb with 19% left in the tank but the heat still kicked my butt! The Canyonero is getting new shoes. I'm breaking them in at the bike park tomorrow!

I'm a minimalist. These fit in a gig bag.

Trail casing (3x60 TPI) with Endurance rubber, the lightest, longest-wearing version. I can only imagine what the super soft rubber is like! :woot: I know, right? I didn't realize how much I was tip-toeing on egg shells. My only other current frame of reference are the well worn Schwalbe...
