No problem w tapes and pedals. My main working bass wore tapes for years and was used regularly w pedals. Comps, OD, fuzz, octave, delays etc all fine.

the newest firmware update adds a paraphonic mode ( 2 notes). Along w many other nice features ( sub osc can operate independently being a major one).

I have all of the synths on your list ( I also work as a keyboard player). As long as 2 octaves work for you , the bass station would be my first choice by a mile esp with the 2.5 firmware update. That said there are so many variables and you’ll need to decide what matters most to you...

I am in a few bands w big age gaps. In one band, everyone could be my father, and in another band, I could be everyone’s father. I find occasional moments of disconnect that I think relate to the age differential, but in general, I think it’s pretty low down the list of regular issues

Hey y’all. I’ve had MIM jazz basses before one my of favs was a 98. Anyway I have a chance to get a 2008-2009 jazz in a trade but I won’t get to play it first so….. any general feedback on that era of MIM fender ? Thanks!
