I was thinking about getting a 8" sub and putting it in a sealed box in my single cab truck. I've have a ported 12 and the bass is never clear its just muddy and most the time does not pick it up right. What do y'all think?

Im still a noob when it comes to basses but when I use my pick as for example if i pluck my E string open it makes a weird slight buzzing sound that changes in sound if i let it ring out all the way. With a finger you can hear it too but only if you play hard. Any idea's on the problem? It also...

My neck on my Peavey T-40 buzzes when played with a pick. I have already been to dallas guitar repair twice and nothing has changed. I don't beat my bass down at all ether just if i play with medium force it buzzes which can be heard thru the amp. thanks

I have a electric acoustic bass and electric bass that dont buzz and there action is alot higher, but ive had the action raised and still buzzed, do i need it like mega raised or something?

The tech said the same thing but im not playing on it very hard and if i grab my other bass and play really hard it does not buzz.

ive had the strings raised a ton and lowered and it buzzes ether way.

Its a Peavey T-40 bass they were some fender strings but i changed them to hybrid slinkys I play medium with a pick but sometimes heavy on the E string.

the first one i got done at guitar center and he charged me next to nothing and said he will redo it for free, and the second tech (dallasguitarrepair.com) charged me 50 and told me to play lighter

It buzzes every where but the last fret of course, and when you play a open string with enough force it makes a weird buzz too. Ive changed stings and still the same. and its very loud buzz.
