I recorded myself before and after the pickups change, with the same strings.

Amazon just refund me all the money and let me keep the pickups! :D i cant complain, maybe the sound didnt change alot, but i got more definition and no buzz :D

I wont do it and i remember why people do it, sometimes pickups go out phase.

Hi, i just bought a pair of Seymour Duncan Vintage to replace in to my Squier II Precision 80´s and there was hardly a little change of sound, a little more balanced sound and better definition, thats all, ¿is that normal? It supposed to change the entery sound, tone and everything but only...

They already installed. I had to remove some wood and paint but the bridge pickup is now working perfectly. The bridge pickup didnt improve much the sound or tone of the bass (seriously) it just remove the clasic hum that fender pickups make.

Squier Deluxe bass has only neck and bridge pickup.

For me the OBP-3 is better for two main reasons, more output and cleaner signal. Also for me the original pre amp was to weak and the eq didnt do to much even at full. The bass now sounds great. I can compare it to the American Deluxe now, just with thes few changes. Wich in total cost me $320 dlls.

Thanks. The sound now is way better, i wont miss the annoying hum noise of the original pickups. Great pickups, not the chepeast ones but great
