Both. Actually I found finger style to be natural and simple for me, its the picking I usually have trouble with... I am looking for an even thicker pick these days, and I'm already playing 3.2mm haha.

I'be been looking for tabs for 'If Looks Could Kill' and 'What About Love' by Heart forever and I can't find them anywhere. I'm sure they are simple songs and I get the general concept but I'd love to double check my work on these tracks. If anyone finds or makes this Tabs I'd be super thankful!

I have 3 cats and a Yorkshire Terrier, and all of them are scared to death of my bass. It's pretty silly, they always run and hide whenever I take it down off the wall. (INB4 NOT THE MOTHMAN)

UPDATE: I was wrong, they did actually lower alot deeper than I assumed. It plays perfectly now! Thanks for the tip man :-)

There doesn't seem to be much room to lower them into. I'm admittedly not too great with woodwork either and would most likely mess up my bass trying to make the slot deeper.

My bass is tuned to BEAD, and I just noticed that due to this the string placement is a little to the right on each string. Now when I play slap, the strings hit the magnets on the pickups and make a loud popping noise. Will raising my action help eliminate this issue? Or is this just a sad...
