ESP Surveyor 400 & 414...***?

Was just skimming the ESP page, along with Musician's Friend and seen there are two different pages for the Surveyor. The 400, and 414 both have the same features, if I'm reading correctly. The 400 is more expensive, by about 70 bucks. I'm assuming that one is an ESP made bass, and the other is an ESP LTD bass. On the ESP site, there are pages only for the Surveyor II (with the ESP logo on the headstock), and the new Surveyor series (with the LTD logo on the headstock). So I'm just baffled as to what is actually what. These basses interest me, and I wouldn't mind have one. I like the Fender looking body, along with the modern features. Any info would be nice. Thanks.

It's always confused me too, all I know is that the 414 is the older version. Both are LTD, the ESP versions cost quite a bit more.

It may have been a limited run? As far as I knew it wasn't slated to be such.

Well, it looks like the 400 and the 414 are the old version and now they're calling it the Surveyor II.

I can't keep it straight anymore.
