My most recent purchase was a Rickenbacker 4003s matte black...so, Yes. My other satin finish is a Tacoma CB-10. My 4001 and my Jack Casady are both gloss.

My '78 4001 and my Tacoma CB10C are my ultimate basses. Though I am looking at getting a 4003.

I use a Carvin BX1500 with 2x10 and 1x15. I like it. My 4001 and my Thunderchief sound the way I want them to.

I took my brother's copy of Freak Out to my junior high band end of the year party along with my all-in-one record player. I put it on and about two minutes into it, the band teacher suggested I turn it off. That was the end of organized band class as far as I was concerned.
