I'm not too good on picking names for bands. My track record isn't good. But I certainly approve of the genre that's being played. Best of luck.

Mojo Jojo

Or just call it "Not Fuzz."
We pretty much all agreed on not naming it after a person, but let's say we change our heart. It is lead guitar driven music, and typically that is who these bands are named after. (hendrix, clapton, SRV, etc).
But our lead guitarist doesn't sing. So technically he isn't the front man. It would be weird to name it after him and then not have him in front, and it would be weird to name it after a pure vocalist/front man, right?
Hendrix' band was the Experience. SRV's was Double Trouble. Eric Clapton has done a lot solo, but also in various bands, from the Yardbirds to the Bluesbreakers to Cream to Blind Faith to Derek and the Dominoes. And J. Geils was not the front man for the J. Geils Band.
Bad Mojo works fine as a name. Really, I don't think it matters too much. All band names sound dumb till the band catches on. Then people will accept whatever the name is as though it were cool.
Not to debate it or anything, but SRV's artist/band name was "Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Double Trouble" and Hendrix was "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" from what I remember.
Yeah, I don't know. We just can't seem to come up with anything great, so I hope you're right about it sounding better in the future.
I can't believe no one will name their band Jennifer.
I will never stop pushing for this.
