    Getting a Schecter to sound like a Spector

    I don’t own a Spector but on the Schecter it looks like the pickups are further apart from each other than on a Spector so you’ll have different comb filtering.

    Alison Turner at EMG confirmed that this design is exclusive to the new sizing. They will have slightly more output than a J single coil but less output than a humbucker.

    Sound great! I hope that they are louder than their current single coil pickups, and that they become available in the 35/40 shells as well. I find the current 35/40J’s to quiet to combine them with P, CS and DC’s.
