Just curious, but why would your zero fret need to be taller than the rest of your frets? Your first fret isn't taller than your second fret, is it?

Haven't had any experience with the Sony's, but I am blown away by these MEE Pinnacle. The sound is just amazing, the detachable cable is really, really nice (bad cables make me angry!) Just high quality all the way, for only $199.

I was taught a long time ago the the "test - check - one - two" does have a purpose, in that it has all the sibilences and vowel sounds that tend to cause problems with feedback and the EQ'ing of the vocal. The word "test" has a strong air blast, with a"t" and an "s" to check for any sibilence...

SInvalid Link Removed, but for bass? My Steinberger has a zero fret, works great, and changing string gauges isn't an issue like it is with a nut. I would think that a zero fret wouldn't need to be any different than any other fret, as it's doing the exact same thing. If it needs to be higher...
