Ok, I bought a Fender Rumble 500 combo and I really like it. One of the features is that it has a compression tweeter with an on/off switch. Ok, what does that mean? I would like to understand this better and what it does. It seems like all the reviews and Fender website assume you already know...

Well that is true. But for few cool straps where I have wanted to take the locks off and use the strap on my an acoustic with a different type of button, the holes are too big. For staying w/ Schaller buttons its ok.

When I have used Schallers, I have used a leather punch to enlarge the hole in strap (thus ruining the strap). I have since moved to Grohlsch locks.
