I agree, the Sire does sounded thinner and I think it may be down to the Super Brights (plus maybe a bit of bass boost could help haha). Super Brights always kind so thin to me and kind of physically feel thin too haha

Ah sorry I’ve been of TB for a while, I want to say this was a 2023 maybe or 2024? I no longer have it, but you are correct, definitely different than the Stingray Specials of today!

Just a quick update, I had time to raise the action and also raise the neck pickup and what a difference it made!

Haha that is a great observation! Out of the three, the stingray is the one I’m most comfortable with! Edit: the even funnier thing to this is, originally I was just going to do a Sire vs Bongo comparison but changed my mind the next morning (which then I got a cold) but the head bops still...

Great call, All the eqs were set flat except I just realized that I had the Sire in passive!! That could be what it was missing!
