Curious how, which one first?, everyone who has a C4 and an Ultrawave Bass are on their boards?

I have some time today so I'll be putting my new to me UWB on my board. I was thinking UWB 1st but then my octave would be after and I'm hesitant to do that since I've always preferred the Oct, fuzz, filter order but. I may just use the UWB as a stand alone and continue using the C4's distortion for my OFF use.

UWB is gonna, for now, replace the Collider on my board. I haven't really been able to use it as much as I anticipated I would. I'd keep it on my board but with my EQ2>C4>UWB(currently Collider)>Atlas> SB Finally with a Hub and Soleman setup I have limited power available. The Finally is on it's own power supply. I might research power supplies but for now I'm gonna keep it simple (at least as simple as a SA board can be! Lol!)

So I'll be experimenting today. Should be fun.

I agree with @rsmith601 on the order for those 2. I have my board of madness that has an Aftershock, C4 Synth, UWB and Spectrum bracketed by other pedals so I can do some crazy ordering of effects, I have a Neuro Hub to recall various scenes. The C4 does have a good selection of distortion sounds that would likely cover most scenarios, I put that to some good use in my jazz gig.

The UWB is such a powerful tool box that mine is often pulled off the board to use it for production duties for the excellent compressor, EQ and gates used as a channel strip of sorts. That might not interest you since you have the EQ2 and Atlas already.

I've spent a bit with the UWB today and think it would be useful in so many scenarios. Very powerful!

For now I have it after the C4 since I'll be using it more as a stand alone dirt pedal.

I will definitely be experimenting with some elaborate signal flows in the future.

Feature/new product request/idea: a HUB-like device that simply connects all of the pedals to the editor via bluetooth for 2-way communication and preset management. i had an OPUS recently and while i didn't keep it i did really enjoy having the full editor experience on any bluetooth-enabled device i happened to have with me.

So looking at the SA site I'm surprised to see that it seems like the Soleman has been discontinued. Is there a replacement coming or do I need to look elsewhere for a MIDI control solution?

And if so any ideas on a simple controller unit would be gratefully received - it would mostly be for selecting existing patches on my 4 SA pedals and not really for editing as I do that with Neuro.

We found that companies working a huge focus on MIDI controllers (Morningstar and Disaster Area) were doing a faster job on new products than we were.

I could see melding some of the envelope filter and other textures of Artifakt with an updated or expanded Spectrum for a powerful funking beast especially if it uesd the architecture and control layout of the Artifakt.

Playing around with a Midifighter Twister controlling the pedals over USB Midi again today. New firmware update has 8 banks of knobs, neat! It would be really cool if the midi mapping on the pedal side was bidirectional, even just the same message back *on a dedicated midi channel* would allow us to make very useful interfaces w/ led encoders or TouchOSC. What i imagine is when a preset changes just the midi mapped parameters are sent out to controllers, keeping everything in sync.

I've been using a FaderFox, PC4 for this function for a while. With the faderfox PC4, you get more knobs to assign but less flashy lights.

That looks nice, the ability to call up a patch and watch the dials automatically rotate to common settings would be a sweet feature. It's easy to get lost with the knob levels when I call up a new patch on my Midi controller (MC6) and the dials change virtually, but not on the faderfox.
