Hi all, There's another thread I created about reconing the EVM15B, but bottom line is that someone locally has a few of the Pro-Line versions of the EVM15B they're looking to sell. I assume the Pro-Line is essentially the same as the Series II EVM15B but having a higher wattage limit? Yes...

OK. You raise the question of the preassembly of the parts by, in this case, an outfit like Speaker Exchange. My technique for the ultimate installation of similar preassembled recone kits is typically quite clean, considering I am a hobbyist and not someone who does this daily for their living...

Wonder if this is just old stock, the rep said they only have authorized service centers doing a few EVM15 recones a year. So maybe the stock of those parts is finally exhausted...

Even the rep was surprised when they looked it up. There's at least one part within the parts that make up the "kit" that's been discontinued.

Talked to the EV rep a few minutes ago... see above his statement that EV doesn't/"won't ever" make a 15B or 15L... He made it clear that EV doesn't build recone "kits". EV makes the parts to do a recone. Speaker Exchange is an authorized EV service center, they build EV "kits" out of EV parts...
