I bought this bass back in 2008 and its a 2006 Fender MIM P Bass in Midnight Wine. On the back of the headstock there's a metal token with Fender and a 60 in a diamond which means its a 60th anniversary model that has American series pickups in it and that this was the only year they made MIM...

This is a bass I will never sell. Her name is Marie and she is a 2002 Mexican Made Fender. I have a custom neck and pickguard on her as well as a BadAssII bridge :bassist: :) And I just put on a set of DR Neon Green strings, not only do they sound amazing they look amazing! :hyper:

hey thanks guys for all the helpful information i pretty much wanted them for only that aesthetic look, to me they just give such a classic look. And thanks for all the comments about the pickguard i got it custom made for the bass since the design didnt match any the place had or something? But...

I was wondering if anybody could help me out here, Ive been toying around with the idea of putting bridge and pickup covers on my 02 fender jazz bass. I have a Badass 2 bridge on it right now and im wondering will a bridge cover fit over with it being on there since it extends out a little more...
