Basses you will never sell..........show em

This one, because its my first SADOWSKY, also my first 5 string and it sounds and plays incredible.

Never say never, but this keeps rising to the top of my pile of Jazz basses ...

Well the one in my avatar isn't going anywhere soon, (90 something MIJ P with Warmoth birdseye maple neck) hope to leave it to my son. The rest of 'em I would let go if I needed to. ('89 J '62 RI, new Warwick rockbas, Squier Jazz).

But if I had a shot at a P body, J neck with this exact color scheme, bound and blocked, I might even let go of the P in the avatar. I'm thinkin about building it from Warmoth parts.....

This is a bass I will never sell. Her name is Marie and she is a 2002 Mexican Made Fender. I have a custom neck and pickguard on her as well as a BadAssII bridge :bassist: :) And I just put on a set of DR Neon Green strings, not only do they sound amazing they look amazing! :hyper:

It aint valuable, it aint a classic, it aint even pretty. But I've had it for 20 years and it aint goin no where. Besides, whos gonna buy it?

I love the lug nut knobs and screw-head fret markers. Plus the color change finish is pure awesome.

And it aint all dinged up on the ends like so many pointy basses seem to get.

My retirement bass ... Fodera Emperor Deluxe 5, maple burl top, walnut body, ebony 'board, Pope preamp, Duncan dual coils. The company I worked for bought it for me.

My '94 Fender American Jazz Deluxe Plus V, which was purchased in memory of my dad, bought with money from the class action suit over the crematorium mixing and matching his ashes with others. He would've wanted me to buy this bass.

The Bass for the Cure ... Lakland JO5, East J-Retro electronics and every other option available except matching headstock.
