    High School Tips?

    Don't do what I did and piss away your freshman year trying to party with juniors and seniors. If I hadn't done that then I would've graduated with a 4.0 probably.

    Baseball Fans?

    Tampa Bay DEVIL Rays (screw calling them the Rays). I was there on the franchise's opening day and sat through the Larry Rothschild era until now, and we're finally getting some respect.

    Has anyone refused to play a Lynyrd Skynyrd tune?

    I've only played one gig (still a beginer) and we got asked to do Simple Man. Sicne it was my first time on stage I was ok with it, but everyone else in the band was just on auto-pilot mode, they hated it, understandably.

    My next tattoo is going to be something bass related but haven't came up with any designs yet. I was thinking of having the tab to Fire by Hendrix start at the base of my neck and then circle down and around my upper arm.

    Newbie checking in

    Hi, the name is Phil. I've been playing bass since December of this past year. My style is mainly classic rock but I do like to throw in some ska and blues. Looks like a great forum and hopefully I can learn a little here.
