ah, great, thanks Andy. So if I have a big ambient sort of sound set on the pedal itself, then a simple delay on the fave switch, set to a tempo I need for an intro, I also use the tap tempo to amend that fave setting live, then double tap the fave switch (off and back on), and it would reverb...

well not really, i'm sure everybody hears them differently. They're all good pedals, you've just got to see what works with your setup, to your ears.

I've owned a blower box and a rat king, but never got on with them. Have had a COG TK421x on my board for a couple of years, it's ace. Discontinued by COG but replacement coming v soon I believe.

SS/BS Mini gets my vote, it has a lot of different, usable sounds, great 2 band EQ and goes from low gain o/d up to nasty, gated distortion.

I'm so happy with what I have now, I've not tried any of the TB fave's from the last few years... still want to pick up a TAFM though, maybe this year!!! though I worked out the other day that I've gone through around 90 pedals in the last 10 years - settled on 6 or 7 now.

I used to have a couple of music electronix pedals - first board picture I posted online had an early fulltone bassdrive (one of the hand-wired ones) and a submarine preamp. shouldn't have sold either of them!! Also used to have a dredge tone bass angler, bought that after TB hype about 5 years...

I have the COG TK421x, and it's just immense. Lots of diode clipping options, and the clean blend has a filter, so you can dial in some lows but high notes are just the distorted signal. Worth keeping an eye out for the JB-007!! Much prefer it to the rat tail and blower box, used to own them...

I like the sound of that board, I'm using a pretty similar setup (inc. a SSBS mini, fall font muff and an afterlife) - how's the shepard's end??

I've upgraded from a PT mini to a Jr, and really happy with this setup... I'll pick up a better, isolated PSU at some point, as I want to free up space on top for another fuzz, probably a SSBS TAFM :) plectrums live in Darth Vader!
