I've been rethinking some effects. In the dirt department over the last year I said screw it and got a couple darkglass pedals which I like a lot. Happy enough I'm considering saying screw it and spending a bit more more on other effects as well. Mainly reverb. Curious what the pros and cons are of the blue sky and big sky? I've owned a couple reverbs(digitech polara, boss rv-6, m-5) I mainly use modulated reverb and shimmer. Modulated sorta of in place of a chorus and shimmer for intros and soundscaping. So additional presets isn't really that big of a deal to me. I've noticed in a couple videos on YouTube people pressing switches on the big sky while it's already on, does it have some type of hold feature or something?

I had a Sneak Attack before the Mobius, mostly for the same feature. Both seem to require careful playing so as not to get ahead of the next swell, if that makes sense. The SA was very unforgiving; it gave a pop if you went to the next note before the previous one had decayed sufficiently. The Mobius is better at it (you would hope!) but that's just my experience.

Autoswell into a shimmer type reverb is pretty.

Hey, folks... glad I found this thread. I use my Mobius in my big pedalboard setup. A few nights ago, I saw Julie Slick with the Adrian Belew Trio, and after hearing her, I realized why I'm not really happy with my chorus presets... they're not thick enough. Anyone have a good, really thick chorus preset they could share?

Also, curious, are there certain things on the Mobius, when setting up effects, should be a bit different when making something for bass, as opposed to guitar?

You can get in and adjust the Chorus to your liking. I would choose a preset closest to what you are looking for and go in and change the Speed, mix, tone till you get what you like. Then save it under a new name. Have you tried connecting it to your computer to get into the library? I put my Chorus, flange and other custom settings next to each other for easy access.
Anyway, I think you'll get what you want with changing tone and or mix.
The strymon site has a good amount of info walking you through processes.

Hi all - I got a DIG last week, really liking it so far :)

I just wondered if you guys could answer a question about the external favourite switch? Say you step on the Fav switch, if you then change the time control on the pedal, or use the tap tempo, does it alter the Fav sound you are currently using, or does it turn off the Fav sound and revert to the DIG unit, or does it have no effect until you turn off the Fav switch?? Tempted to get one but not 100% sure how the thing will work in a band setting!

with the fave switch on it will effect the sound saved on the fave, when you turn it of those settings will be the delay you hear. hope that helps

ah, great, thanks Andy. So if I have a big ambient sort of sound set on the pedal itself, then a simple delay on the fave switch, set to a tempo I need for an intro, I also use the tap tempo to amend that fave setting live, then double tap the fave switch (off and back on), and it would reverb to the preset tempo? Haha does that rambling question make sense mate??

yeh i had the el capistan and i had a similar thing the fave setting as a huge delay and small set as standard, when you turn of the fave it should go back to what the dials are set so in theory a tap tempo should stay but also the tempo set on the dig might take over.
