The event was great! The staff was amazing, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of stations that had variations of most of their pedal. Most station had guitars but they also had basses available. It was very nice sampling all of their different pedals. The Riverside sounded really good! I really liked it after the OB1 and before the Deco with saturation on. I also liked the DIGI. I have the Timeline already but it seemed more natural for me.
Ok, now for the best part. Towards the end of the event they raffled of two of the Riverside. Mine was fist number called. I am totally ecstatic. They didn't have any for me to take home. I am expecting it in the mail hopefully sometime this week.
A little about me and dirt. I like OD. I have both the Darkglass Microtube and B3K. I also own a Palisades but really only use it when messing around on guitar. I have been on the fence this last few weeks about picking a OCD. My guitarist let me barrow his a few rehearsals ago and it sounded great in the mix. He also just purchased the ED Grey Channel that I am interested in trying out. Needless to say the Riverside is going to have stiff competition at my place but I am still very eager to get it set up with my gear and use it in a few rehearsals. More to come.
