Long Lost and Forgotten TB Favorites

Next month will be my 16 year anniversary of joining TB and I probably lurked the forums for a year before joining so needless to say time flies. I was just looking through some old pictures and they reminded me of pedals that I owned that were once TB favorites that seem to have been forgotten over the years. There's way more small pedal builders today than when I joined and remember how difficult it was to even get clips (pre-youtube) of some of these pedals much less own them.
Let's resurrect these TB classics. List what you owned and whether or not you still have them.

Here are some of the ones that I remember owning or GASing for. I wish I never sold a bunch of these.


HBE Hematoma
WMD Fatman/Superfatman
Barber LTD (I don't recall which version)
Mojo Hand Cream Pie, I remember this was being a holy grail type pedal.
Barber Linden
Blueberry Bass OD, although this one seems to be making a bit of comeback due to the recent reissues.
Analogman Beano Boost
Fulltone Fat Boost
Frantone Cream Puff
Emma Transmorgrifier

Its funny becasue a lot of these were still just at the tail end of their cream of the crop'idness when I joined back in 2012. It's like the last 5 years it's blown up in to the golden age of effects, even for bassists. Which is so cool. I love all the availability now. And like you said, you can usually find YT vids on most things now.

I remember when I joined the Rusty Box was a pretty big deal. And Darkglass JUST started gaining traction. It was really cool to see Doug them take off. I still have my rusty box and have since bumped my B7K to an Ultra. I don’t have too many more that I did when I first started getting into pedals here. The blower box has been here for a while. As has my 105q. That’s nuts when you stop and think about it….

I GASsed for the Barge Concepts Grinder big-time. Never got a chance to try one, though.

I had the first Source Audio BEF three times. Very innovative, with many unique tones, but I just couldn't quite bond with it.

I don't hear as much about the Wounded Paw pedals as I used to. I had the Attack Goat and loved it; I just end up not using dirt on bass.

While I haven't heard much about the Rusty Box on here, I've noticed it on a lot of major players' boards so I think it has only grown more popular. Just not blatantly so like Darkglass

Team Awesome Fuzz Machine, Barber Linden, JohnK Animato. But in thinking about them, I had my reasons...TAFM was too big and had too many features and I could get a comparable sound to the sound I used with my VT, Linden was great for some things but not for others, and as nshuman (I believe) once said, the Animato is Gary Busey in pedal form.

I used to have a couple of music electronix pedals - first board picture I posted online had an early fulltone bassdrive (one of the hand-wired ones) and a submarine preamp. shouldn't have sold either of them!!
Also used to have a dredge tone bass angler, bought that after TB hype about 5 years ago...

I still have my W&C Tall Font Russian, I think that will stand the test of time. Got rid of my phat phuk B though.

I remember when the Grey Stache was the new kid on the fuzz block.

I also remember having a wayfarer from baddy one shoe pedals. that was a cool little overdrive.

How could I forget about the Bluebeard Fuzz!?!? Mine still proudly collects dust on my shelf.
