    NEED TO DECIDE PLEASE HELP!

Maybe it`s a simple answer, but if you`re gonna play jazz then get a Jazz Bass. Dunno if you`ve considered a Fender Jazz already, but if you`ve never played one, you`re missing a lot.

    Warwick ID?

German warwicks are preferred generally. People tend to avoid koreans since they believe its lower quality.

Fender Urge I (Stu Hamm Signature). What does each knob do ?

Don`t have a camera right now, but looks exactly like this: Invalid Link Removed I`m not sure if that Ebay description is from the Urge II model. This one seems to have a 2band preamp.

Fender Urge I (Stu Hamm Signature). What does each knob do ?

I`ve just bought one of this in Sherwood Green. It comes with 2 concentric knobs (volume/pan and bass/treble) but the 4 position rotary knob and 3 way mini toggle switch got me confused. Does anyone know how it works or have a diagram ??

I want a classic (sound) 5 string bass

All of them are good choices but with different guts. The Corvette is on the modern edge. Although it shares the typical Jazz bass config, sounds more modern due to its dense woods and pickups design. Baseball bat profile is also a turnoff for many people (count me in that league) Lakland...

    97 american deluxe jazz

During that early period (pre 98), they also had white dots instead of pearloid. Five strings version came with in line Gotoh tuners. Ash capped basses were a standard feature back then and they also offered some colors not available today. I personally prefer Suhr electronics. After 1998...

    Sell Or Modify???

Sell. You`ll spend a lot time of consuming tasks when making mods and results are not granted. Go for another one.

    Metro or Nordy?

I wish I had to make a decision like that :) I`d go with the Nordy. Carey builds top notch basses and in my opinion, his electronics are superior. Anyway, if you have the chance try to play them both before deciding.

Help - which 57 reissue Fullerton Precision to keep?

Quite hard and unusual decision. Fullerton 82 RI are terrific basses. If I were you, I`d keep the one that "speaks" to you most. You just gotta decide which one is "your" player and that will be the keeper. It`s just a matter of personal preference.

    J-Bass 1997 Deluxe Ash Question,its worth?

Looks like the real deal to me. Fender initially started their Deluxe production with several differences from actual ones: - John Suhr (widely known from Pensa-Suhr) designed pickups and preamps. - Ash bodies or tops were a "standard" feature within the Dlx line. Nowadays there`s a...
