I seem to remember some years ago,guys using a pad of some type to get the cabinet a bit above the floor. Is having a cabinet directly in contact with the floor affecting the sound adversely?

That is a nice looking bass,I`ll give ya that much. I really like that it doesn`t have dots on the board. I also do like the P/J configuration. I will keep this one in mind when looking around the forums and Ebay.

I see a few of the Fender Vintage Modified Jazzes on Ebay say MANUFACTURER REFURBISHED..do these carry the same warranty from Fender?

It wasn`t the basses,I loved em. It`s just that I was not able to get hooked up with any bands at the time.So I got tired of just having a bass and playing along with records.

I personally can not stand dots on any guitar! They ruin the neck in my opinion. I never understood why they put dots on a neck,probably never will. One inlay at the 12th is fine..have you ever seen how good a neck looks with nothing on it? Ewww dots,,just awful!

Are all of the models they make made in the USA? Also,,are these basses still as good as they were back in the 70`s?

Can I get some opinions on these amps?
