I was look at one of these and the 'salesman' said they were the best practice amp in the $250.00 range. Anyone want to comment on this? Any other recs in that price range for an old man that just started playing bass and will not be doing any playing except to iratate my wife?

I have been trying to find this tab for a while - thank you for the post. Since I am both new to the bass and a 4 string player, can you clarify the system you have used - for example, the first bar shows the 7 between the top line and 5nd line - does that represent the G(4th) or D(3rd) string...
