I've been using the Spark 1 for low volume bass practice. I use the TH500 model. I have a real TH500, and for what the Spark is, I think it performs really well and sounds convincing enough for sitting at my desk and learning songs.

I get sub calls almost every weekend. Sometimes I get a set list, sometimes I don’t. In one band, the keyboard player yells out before each song, “Country swing in F!”, or “Cumbía in Am!”, and that’s all I get the whole night. Your guitar player will be fine.
