NBM - G&L Sparkly Bass

This happened about month or so ago. I'm laid up with a broken kneecap and in a wheelchair, so taking pics of new basses isnt easy. Anyway, on with the show...

I ordered this G&L jazz bass from Fret Nation. I was originally thinking I would get my traditional black jazz bass. Then, I think the pain meds kicked in, generating the idea this was a great opportunity to get my long-wanted metal flake bass. Casting hesitation aside, I feebly said, "Please sir, I'd like silver metal flake." 2 months later here it was.

Body of empress, 7.5 lbs, 12" radius fretboard, metal flake that would make a '60s gasser envious. It's the best sounding jazz in my coven, quickly becoming my #1 bass.

Huge props to Jason at Fret Nation. He made it happen easily.

I don't use the word a lot, but in this case... That's absolutely KILLER. (It would just need one more string for my needs...) Congrats.
