This happened about month or so ago. I'm laid up with a broken kneecap and in a wheelchair, so taking pics of new basses isnt easy. Anyway, on with the show...
I ordered this G&L jazz bass from Fret Nation. I was originally thinking I would get my traditional black jazz bass. Then, I think the pain meds kicked in, generating the idea this was a great opportunity to get my long-wanted metal flake bass. Casting hesitation aside, I feebly said, "Please sir, I'd like silver metal flake." 2 months later here it was.
Body of empress, 7.5 lbs, 12" radius fretboard, metal flake that would make a '60s gasser envious. It's the best sounding jazz in my coven, quickly becoming my #1 bass.
Huge props to Jason at Fret Nation. He made it happen easily.
The eye candy:
It's awesome in every way.
That is all, folks!
