Here's my '99 ASAT that I scored in 2004. I like it alot.
Here's my long gone 2000 custom order 2 tone ASAT.
Oh, I LOVE metal flake finishes. That one is freaking me out...must...control...self! So beautiful.
I’m in dyed in the wool slut for a sparkly flake finish and this one is awesome as it gets! Congrats on an amazing looking bass!!
Beautiful bass. I am planning to do similar, but had considered navy blue colour, with BIG, vulgar, motorboat sized flakes. I want BLING to the max.
but, after seeing your silver-flake, I'm thinking ...maybe.... silver? It looks really nice. And that you had the headstock painted too.... class job.
I love painted head-stocks. They make all the difference. Nice job. Too bad about your knee . . .
One other comment : I always had problems with the look of t he jazz bass control plate. That big, chrome, shiny metal plate. Yuk. BUT . . . it fits-in perfectly with your colour-scheme. Looks great! Adds to the "bling". A win all-around!!!

Something I should say is that it was Jason at Fret Nation who suggested the pearloid pickguard. He had done a guitar for another customer with that and one picture sold me.
One other thing is that I dress rather flashy onstage from time to time. I have several shiny and or sparkly jackets that really make the bass "shine."

Thanks! G&L said it was the 1st time they did a sparkle top finish w/ different sides & back. I was looking for that Gretsch Sparkle Jet vibe.
There’s never a sparkly bass available when I’m in the mood.

That looks awesome. I agree on the white pearloid pickguard and matching headstock. I have an EBMM Stingray Special HH in Smoked Chrome and another in Amethyst Sparkle and they look great on stage. Yours is going to look fabulous. Well done.
Matching headstock FTW, and bonus points for “coven” as a collective noun for instruments. As you already seem to recognize @bdplaid the next logical step is a flashy strap, but fortunately flashy straps are easy. I have exactly one solidbody instrument that isn’t black or something dark and subdued, but I do at least have some style in my strap selection.
