i have never had any luck with fenders or washburns... but i have a theory on this whole "bad bass" discussion... i dont like to say "fenders suck!" because there are an army of bassists out there who love them... likewise, i enjoy the deans i have and i know there are an army of people out...

i have been playing bass for 20 years and in all that time i have never found an amp that performs like the 3500 transient attack... granted, we all have our different tastes... but for me, at first glance, i love the ability to blend the tube and solid state!!!! you can pull so much funky...
