I was elected to play bass in my current scenario. After borrowing a combo for a while I purchased the BX3000T and a Hartke VX1508 cab as my first rig. I used it for about two years but then started playing through other rigs and couldn't believe the sound quality difference. I could never get the sound I wanted or liked ever again out of the Behringer.

It is now my backup rig as I recently purchased a brand new Carvin SBR610 Full Stack that I just love.

I have BX3000T for a backup that my son mostly uses in his youth group band. I like the tone I can get out or it with the shape knob. It is a warm amp and thats the tone I like. The octave bass feature is useless for me.

I bought it like new for $100.00 at a yard sale. I'm keeping it because it sounds good.

Yeah the used market is full of better stuff for the same money. A Peavey firebass would match up to that cab well. If I remember right, they came out around the same time and a lot of guys I know used to play that rig it has a good xlr out for shows also. if your not in a band and aren't planning on being in one until you can afford something better I would just buy something you can practice on with headphones and save your money for something better. If you buy Behringer your basically throwing money away. Granted you throw away money on any gear but with Behringer its like handing money to someone who pisses on it then drenches it in gasoline and burns it in front of you.

I dont think anything else needs to be said
