    Yeah - I hear you. The weird thing about the Sandberg Ken Taylor is that his name doesn't appear anywhere on the bass. It's a signature model without a signature!

    The Ken Taylor model is great: two humbuckers, coil split switch, active/passive switch and a 3-band active eq. Mine weighs about 9lbs and plays beautifully. They list quite a few Polish distributors on their web site. Definitely try one if you can.
