$2000 to spend!! I'd say you don't need to spend that much to get a great sounding, playing 5 string. Whatever you choose, get something with great resale value....you never really know if it'll be your thing and selling may become a future option.

To all that replied, thank you. I admit to not reading all the comments as there are thousands. I'm just so used to getting nasty remarks from lots of people, when I share my experiences with COVID19. I do have my own suspicions about covid but that is exactly what they are, my suspicions...

Working in the mortuary field, I'm yet to see 1 solitary person who has died with Covid. Lost count how many vaccine deaths we have picked up though. Chew my head off all you like but this is my first hand experience out in the field, hands on, deceased person recovery unit.

Markbass cmd151 combo. Loved the amp. Currently own the Labsystems 130s 15" combo. Made late 80s early 90s. Played once then stored in a wardrobe for 20+ years. Paid $500 for it and its like new. Sounds awesome. Never seen another one like it.

I played my pbass through my 215 cab on Wednesday. It sounded meaty as all .... But, when I walked out front, (tone pot fully open) it lacked that bass depth. A few adjustments on the tone pot and amp quickly sorted that out.

Wrong screw maybe. Perhaps it's to long and connecting with something electrical inside? No expert. Just an uneducated assumption.. If it is twisting the circuit board, surely that suggests its not secure somewhere else?

It's obvious there's love for the cab, so do it, replace both speakers. I've lost count of the amount of 10" speakers I've destroyed over the years. I avoid them like the plague now.

1; Set up a bassist profile. Include your influences, the genres you like, equipment, gigging history, recordings etc etc. I also put up a Spotify set list for people to listen to. The band I'm in now, chose me because of the influences I included on my profile... such as Jah Wobble, Tracy Pew...
