    Window clings, sometimes called window/glass magnets. Been using them for 20+ years. They also work great on pickups to eliminate strings to magnet contact pops.

    As long as it's playable, neck not twisted and frets in the right place, it's salvageable. Show us a photo of the guts, maybe it just needs a battery. Though not a Alembic electronics, doesn't mean it's worthless.
