OK, wasn't aware the higher value pot would affect volume. Thought it just affected tone. Will have to order new pots and see if that makes a difference. I think they are 250k. Wiring is: pickup - blend knob - volume pot - preamp. Just like the Aguilar schematic says. Not sure about buffering...

Yep, a good 6 dB louder or more. I have to run the volume about half to compare to my other Aguilar equipped basses. Thinking of throwing a Delano pre I have in if to see what happens But I hate to mess up my pretty wiring.

All the guys with volume issues, are you wiring them exactly how the Aguilar diagram says? I had issues with a few but it was fixed based on where I put the master volume in line. I have multiple now with barts through obp-3. I always get huge compliments on the tone.

My warrior has three bartolini's. It has a blend knob and on the neck side of the blend is a three way switch selecting neck/ neck &middle/ middle. It's a simple configuration that lets me do any combination. I like it a lot

I love my little mark bass 250. It's only 250watt but it gets plenty loud with my SWR 2x12" or Genz Benz 4x10

I have a Tobias with the same basslines pickups and the 3-band preamp. I absolutely love it! If I had a little more funds I would be all over this bass!

If you unbolt the neck (loosen strings first of course) it should have the model stamped in the neck pocket. Plus if it has the full serial number on it then you can look it up on online. Some model years didn't stamp the full serial number on them for some reason. Only the last 5 digits
